Palo Alto

 

Palo Alto is in the northwest section of Santa Clara County. It was founded by Leland Stanford Sr. in conjunction with Stanford University in 1894. Not only is Palo Alto home to the prestigious Stanford University, but it’s also the heart of Silicon Valley. Many top tech companies have their headquarters here including, Hewlett Packard, Tesla, and VMware. Palo Alto is nestled between Mountain View, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, and Portola Valley.

 

Downtown Palo Alto has a lively energy complete with the latest food trends, exercise studios, and local businesses. It’s common for residents to attend sporting events at Stanford University or enjoy a meal at one of the hot new restaurants on University Avenue. The housing in Palo Alto ranges from multi million dollar estates to mid century Eichler style properties and traditional homes. Palo Alto has an award-winning public school system recognized throughout the country.

 

The public schools include the prestigious Henry M. Gunn High School and Palo Alto High School.
